Export as PDF code block display bug #2984

Thanks for reporting the issue. I was first a bit confused because it looks like v0.11.15 doen't have the export to pdf option.

But I could test your markdown snippet on master and I don't get the problem.

I'm not getting any styles in the generated pdf. Here is the PDF I've created on Windows 10 with the export to pdf feature. exported-pdf.pdf

How did you create the PDF? Have you created it with a printer e.g. Microsoft print to PDF? Or a different PDF printer? With printing to a pdf I'm getting a similar output like yours with cutted text - it seems like Microsoft print to PDF is generating an image of the preview section. I have to check how to avoid the cutted text.

After changing the page size before pdf printing to letter instead of A4 fixes the cutted text but I think that's just a work-around. It should also work with A4 output. printed-test-letter-page.pdf

@tangjiabing Are you still experiencing this issue with the latest version 0.11.17?

Reproducible on Windows 10 with 0.11.17:

Exporting a large code block to PDF causes misalignment:

• if the code block gets split over 2 pages
• and if at least one of the lines of the code is longer than the page width (line 8 in the example)
